Outsourcing For Your Online Business - Grow Your Business Exponentially By Getting Help From Others
Outsourcing refers to having someone else do work for you by the hour or by the job. This will free you up to do the things that only you can do. I'm going to share some strategies with you that have made outsourcing a must for my business, including which types of activities to have others do for you, how to know when you can afford to do this, and how to carry it one step further to grow your business exponentially.
In the beginning you may feel like you have to learn how to do everything in your online business. This might include creating content with articles and blog posts, hosting teleseminars and webinars, and creating information products. I know I felt this way and was soon exhausted from working ten to twelve hours each day. I finally decided that I was best at writing and creating information products, but not so skilled at creating websites and doing the technology. I decided to find others who could do these things for me, and it made a huge difference immediately.
The biggest complaint I hear from my own students on this topic is that they cannot possibly afford to pay someone else when they are not yet earning much money in their online business. The fact is that this is a business that costs money to set up and run, and having others help you is part of that expense. You may want to barter with others for their services in the beginning. Start with the one thing you need help with - in my case it was the technology - and then see how it goes. Once I had someone setting up my sites and working on the technical aspects I could see my way clear to write and create new products.
You can also carry this one step further to grow your business exponentially. I hired someone to submit my articles to the directories, post to my blog using my content, and turn it all into short reports I could sell and give away. Finally, all of that content was turned into books to sell on Amazon and Kindle.
As you can see, having help as your build your business on the Internet will be crucial to your success. Find people who are already successful and ask for references and referrals to the people they are using for their outsourcing.
